What Firmware for 9xr w/multiprotocol

I have a 9xr with the Irangex IRX-4 multiprotocol module. I'm trying to figure out which firmware to install that will allow selection of the protocols on the module.

I looked at OpenTX, but in the OTC Companion app it doesn't list Multimodule as an option for the 9XR/m128. It is there for a few other radios including the 9x w/AR9x chip.

So, it looks like ER9X would have the multimodule support, but which version do I use. I found a bunch of .hex downloads in the "er9x testing" thread. Once I have a .hex file that will do the trick, how do I actually flash it? I installed eePe, but it doesn't look like there is any way to flash a .hex file to the radio through the software.

I'm sure I'm missing something. Thank you in advance for any help in navigating this.

Jerry

Go to www.er9x.com, download the firmware "er9x-128.hex".
Use eepe to flash it to the radio. You will need an ISP programmer, like for example an "UsbAsp".
Don't forget to configure eepe to flash the m128 chip, and select the programmer you have from the list..

I'm still waiting for the programmer, but once I have it installed I'm sure that getting my models programmed in will be the next big hurdle.
