Flash normal firmware via USB DFU with power off.

You need to use Zadig to install the proper driver for the DFU device, yes.

1 zadig to install driver (which one?)
2 use dfu to Flash firmware
3 use opentx companion as usual for the rest

Hmm Nothing shows up in neither zadig or dfu. Guessing something else got burnt to. Have checked for solder bridges and checked that every pad is connected to the processor with continuity tester.
Any suggestions to what i have done wrong?

Do you hear the usb connected sound? If yes it's all good, and you probably forgot to "show all devices" in Zadig.

Tried list all devices but nothing new shows up. Just Webcam drivers and stuff.

Then something's not right with the replacement job, or something else broke initially.

Check the 5V from the USB is getting to the 3.3V regulator, and it is actually powering the processor.
