I see that to get the latest, chose the stable version you need, but how does one know what version it is a any revision history?
Basiclly I would like to know what the version differences are to see if I really need to update my FW?

One question , I'm confused on the newest stable download. Why on this page http://code.google.com/p/er9x/the latest stable download is listed as R708 but I show R753 in C9X and C9X wants me to download the latest FW R758

Don't know what C9X does. The latest stable version is one that runs fine, with no reported problems. The latest version is the last one produced, this may have minor bugs as something new has probably been added and may have a problem.
