Hi all
I have made some minor changes to OpenTX which may be useful to others.
I am sure this is mentioned somewhere... but could not find it...
How do I contribute to the project? Send a patch file, or git link, or something else, to somebody?
At the moment, I have two patches I am using regularly myself.
1) New visual look for the trim sliders. I did not like the originals...
2) a tiny functional change. A long keypress on an existing model (on the model selection screen) will select the model and jump back to the main screen. (opposed to staying on the selection screen)
Thanks!
JayC
How to contribute source code to OpenTx?
Re: How to contribute source code to OpenTx?
The typical way would be to create a github account, create a fork of OpenTX into it, create a branch based on the latest release, apply your mods in it, then open a pull request.

About 1) have a look in 'next', it was already changed! Which radio do you use?

Ok, I'll do that github stuff.
I have the good old Turnigy 9x with a few modules, and brand new 9x waiting for a 2561 update.
Thanks guys!

Nice! It could be an option that we add inside companion. The current implementation in 'next' allows the user to know when the trim is positive or negative, but really near the zero.
