Many creative persons here that post mixes.
Maybe list the mixes you want and stick or switch actions, and persons will help with them.

Thanks for the info Showmaster
Next question I saw a voice add on board (project fo later) what I need to know will it fit in the 9x with the Smartie parts boards fitted
It is a bit over kill for a boat (Avenger tug) which is now based on one of the great lakes, but I just like tinkering about

The Megasound board fits fine with a SP ver 2 board I installed some time ago. I did the cut and solder for the telemetry display mod so I didn't use the SP EZ add on. I'm not sure how much room the EZ takes up?
I'd contact Smartiparts and ask about room for the Megasound board. Great sounding audio btw. Let's see if anyone reading this has the answer.

Are you saying from your first post that you're using a SP board now for your er9x instal programmer? If so do you have the EZ telemetry display add on?
Do you have a picture of your install?
Here's how my SP ver 2 with a MSound board.

Hi yes i have fitted the sp v4 board and installed er9x all working fine and have the ez board ready to fit when the djt module arrives tomorrow I think.
I am planing on unsoldering the stock ant then resolder and fit the ant to the module so that I can still use it with my non tele recievers unless they will work with the djt mod wiout telementry
As a mater of interest check qrz m0wbh

New djt module arrived so will start fitting tomorrow after the club sail race that then gives me a week before the next race in case I hit any problems but going by s-mac,s good service and instruction I don't see any problems
I will post some pics as I go along and it looks like the sound board will be ok for another time.
Cheers and thanks to all for the interesting info on all the forums its even getting me back interested in flying again but if it does it will be heli,s

I have read where 2.4g has a little trouble over/on water. I haven't with a slow motored boat I run on a 360deg park fishing pond. Have your or your fellow captains had any issues?
I'm sure longer cats whisker antennas would help.

Think its more that the signal is not good close to the ground.

The further you go from you, the higher you have to go!

Yes I had trouble with the planet 5 radio as the reciever ant is very short plus down low below the waterline a lot of the time so would loose it about 50 yards but with the 9x ant I have blue tact them up uder the deck and did a test from one end of the lake about 200 yards with no problems only my eyesight couldnt see wether it was going away or comming towards me Hi.
Some other members want to change over to this system as I have gone from being last in every race to a 3, 4 and 6th today so I think s-mack will be getting some orders shortly
Cheers
