Unable to flash new firmware

Post by calla969 »

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I've asked about this issue several times, many months ago, but I've never been able to get it resolved. I am unable to flash new firmware or load eeprom into Companion. I can save it it a file, but it acts like it isn't completely finished, it goes to 96%. When I try to flash a new firmware, I get the output below. I'm on OpenTX r2647 and my eeprom is 215. I haven't been able to update since July. Can anyone give me a clue where i can start? If it makes a difference, I am using a 9x with the first version of the Sky9x board. Everything seems to be working great, just can't update.
This is what I get when I try to flash firmware:

Re: Unable to flash new firmware

Post by calla969 »

I'm able to back the eeprom up to the HD, and I can flash the firmware if I uncheck backup and restore eeprom. It finishes with Samba errors, but seems to be successful. Then I can restore my eeprom from the file. Also with errors, but seems to work.

Unable to use the simulator at all.

Anyone?
