Oh.. ur waiting for the frSKY x9D perhaps?
You're not able to use the stock 9x board for a month or two?
I have them gimbals from Aurora 9 waiting to be installed, I'm a bit "afraid" of the 5x less resolution will affect my Naza quad in a bad way if I don't have this board or "OP AMP" which I'm not able top produce my self.
Sorry, I only invested in the ERSKY board just to fit the Aurora gimbals, so they aren't for sale.
I bought a whole Aurora, that had the touch display broken and Tx module amputated for ~40€ as only sticks are impossible to find.
It looks like the new Frsky sticks are the way to go if they become available soon.
Maybe I can get them from aloft locally soon?
I want to upgrade my 2 models of the skyboard TXs b, and c, and plan to keep them. I just ordered a voice board from hungry to drop in my best modified er9x since it can run er9x as well as open9x. I have the voice parts to build my own board but this looks so nice and it's all SMD.
Adding better sticks was the final project before I take delivery on the new Frsky.
Of course I can't fly them all regularly but I got rid of older PCM only TXs to make room for the newer ones.
I saved the JR pcm10, unlimited8 and century7 TXs and my original DX7.
The 3 Krafts are waiting for a Frsky upgrade and so is a heath kit 4ch singlestick.
I'm still thinking about what to do with my 6 meter pcm9. Maybe for stick parts for the others?
Gone are the RS, S&O, Cannon.
I canalized several PCM only high end Futaba's for toggle switches and they're still in a throw away box. Anyone need good sticks or other parts from them?
Ok, had a little fun listing my precious stuff but I do have room for another tx on the shelf now.
The various extra builds of 9x radios will be moved on to new club members later this year since they were fun to modify but probably won't see much action in the future. I'm sure if I regret it I'll be able to find enough parts on ebay or here to build another one later on.
Now about support for the new Taranis.
If parts and schematics are available I'll probably offer to be a, as time permits, repair person for my club. I'm pretty much doing that that now for 9x's and dropped radios.
Anyone that likes doing this knows that the $1/per hour labor charge is not why we do it. I actually do it for a nice bottle of red wine we both can have a glass of after the work is done! They supply the parts, me the labor.
I hope the schematics are released soon regardless of when the Taranis is actually shipped.
Without them we're back to reverse engineering the circuits as many have had to do in the past. I think that's what an "open tx" system implies so I can't wait.
As always, thank you to all the dedicated code writers past and present that make it all work as well as to the great hardware and circuit designers that keep us moving forward and learning so much about how it all works, and a forum to discuss it on.

I don't see why FrSky will not make the schematics available in due course. At present, there are a number of things that are confidential, at least until the Taranis is actually out there being sold. Those of us working on the software do have schematics, indeed we have actively suggested modifications/improvements, many of which have been included.
