Hello All,
I would like to change both the potentiometers on my Q X7 to the X9E sliders and move them to the side of the transmitter (Andrew Newton-style, just with less hacking).
Are these interchangeable?

They should work without any problem. I have a X9D slider on the side of my QX7 although this is in addition to the 2 pots as I have the option of 2 extra pots when using erskyTx firmware on the Tx.
