How can I mix a percentage of down elevator as the throttle is is increased?
I tried this mix without any luck
CH02 : ELV [IO2] ELV Weight (+100)
+=[IO3] THR Weight (-17%) NoTrim Diff (100%) [DWNELV]
How can I mix a percentage of down elevator when throttle is is increased?

This is my setup
CH2 source Ele wt 100
source OP7 wt 50 switch ID-
CH3 source Thr wt 100
CH7 source Thr wt 100 offset 100
source P3 wt -100 multiply
ID switches on elevator trim and throttle linkage
P3 varies the amount of down trim that is applied by throttle

I am a very newcomer to OpenTx. But what stands out to me in the above is the selection of "Diff" curve.
Have you tried changing that to "Func"?
I really don't know if that will work. I will try setting it up on bench now. I have been doing that to try it using a bound receiver, battery and servos on the desk.
I am totally baffled by Lancasters reply though...........sorry!

I just noticed this is a very old thread.
However, I got it working on the desk straight away.
You must have had it sorted by now?

I use pot 2 on a spare channel e.g CH 10 to generate between 0% and e.g. 40%
Then use special functions to set a Global Variable to value of CH 10
Then mix your elevator to throttle using the GV as the weight.
Start the flight with pot 2 turned to 0%
Then trim plane to glide under idle / no power.
Finally, power back up to normal cruise speed, plane will almost certainly climb.
Adjust with pot 2 until neither climbing or diving.
Remember to memorise pot positions after flight.
Now plane won't dive as soon as you cut power
