Hello guys,
my new X7S arrived with OTX 2.2.0.
when i tried to flash it via companion it wouldnt go unless i unticked the "check HW compatibility" box.
once unticked, it flashed fine and i flashed FW and BL for 2.2.1.
i have only flown it once on 2.2.0 before upgrading and seemed fine.
after the flash, when setting up a new model, i noticed something odd and that is that the right roll gimbal seems sluggish occasionally, and after a few wiggles would continue to work normally.
here is a video showing the analongs screen:

i doubt this is related to OTX , looks more like a HW issue but i thought i would ask. maybe someone has seen something like this before?
thanks.
Problem with X7S - could this be an OpenTX issue
Re: Problem with X7S - could this be an OpenTX issue
Never uncheck hardware compatibility.
Flash again but check hardware compatibility. If there is a problem lets work through it.
Are you using an x7 companion profile.

He does need to uncheck to go from FrSky's odd firmware version to clean OpenTX, so that was correct.
Almost certainly hardware indeed.

I didn’t for my X7. Is this something after the early X7 went out?

my X7 flashed fine with HW compatibility, but the X7S never would.
