I have two 9XR Pro transmitters that are to all intents identical. However, on one of them, the throttle stick direction is reversed.
That is, zero throttle is at the top and full throttle at the bottom.
I have checked and rechecked that none of the throttle configuration settings is set to reverse: not in any model nor in the radio settings.
Everything else is AOK (including ALL trim directions).
What could cause this?
Cheers and thanks,
Stephen

Perhaps the throttle pot is wired the wrong way round.
You may reverse the throttle pot direction in the hardware menu, see HELP from the main popup menu on how to enable the hardware menu.

Thanks Mike.
I've never used the hardware menu before but found that the throttle was reversed there.
Is it possible that this could have been done by a previous firmware update? I have seen strange unexpected changes when updating before.
(Now on r220.)
Cheers,
Stephen

Re: Throttle stick reversed on one Tx
Earlier versions of the firmware did not have the Hardware menu locked. It was precisely because people would change settings they didn’t understand, and that only needed to be changed rarely, that the lock was introduced.
If you had the transmitter on an earlier version you might well have reversed throttle operation inadvertently.

If you don't modify the radio's hardware, or install new one, you might never need to even enter the hardware menu.
Therefor it is better to be hidden. It is just like the "Service" menu in other equipment, it is not for normal use..
