Taranis plus powered by USB?

Hi there, I have ordered a taranis plus but it doesn't come with a battery. Is it possible to power it up by connecting it via USB? I was planning to connect it up to an fpv sim to test it out before ordering a battery if this is possible.

Where did you order it from? Normally they do come with a battery.

It's a used one from eBay. If it's all working ok I'll order the battery, unless I can't power it from USB, then I'll have to buy one anyway.

You can't power by USB. Any 2s lipo with matching balance plug will work though.
