Programmer Will this be OK?

Hi All

I bought the following USBASP programmer from Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370532286436? ... 1439.l2649
Can I ask if it will be ok to you on my 9x please. If so I was going to start the soldering later today and leave the 10pin block plug flush with the casing so this unit plugs into it. Then use a short USB extension to plug it into the PC will this be ok..

If this is OK I will get on with it then I ill have to find out what drivers I need later when all done and put back together..

Yes it is... you can use originan usbasp drivers with it

At least I know im ok to continue to solder Also will it be ok to use the short USB extension I was on about.

Also which is the best diagram for showing all the contacts and pads? I have a couple but still not shure I keep switching on the solder station then off again then rechecking. Stupid aint it seeing iv built ham radios and been inside and mended others But its different Dont ask why LOL...

Can anyone point me to a set of the original USBASP Drivers that has all the files needed for setup included inc the sys and the dll please. Many thanks iv been hunting and found them but most have the dll missing.

Iv got the driver all installed and iv downloaded eePe for the flashing Thats alright is it not?

For er9x eepe is great, for other firmwares you may have a look to companion9x too
