I own DX8 for while and it's great radio but I'm not much into their firmware so, mostly it's sitting on the shell.
So, I wonder anyone thought about having open firmware on Spektrum TXs.
just placed ARUni board to how it would look like. Confirmed Th9x stock LCD fits perfectly and working fine.
ARUni could fits into the body but may be little tricky so, I'm thinking of totally new hardware build for DX8 and other Spektrum series.
I think conversion would be as easy as Th9x to AR9x,
With firmware modification, Ersky9x/OpenTX surely can handle Spektrum's stock RF modules as well.
I like to hear any thoughts or suggestion.
Thanks.
JK

Or just fit a FrSky DHT or the board from a XJT!
Or you could fit the board from an Orange module, re-flashed with the MULTI protocol, or a DIY MULTI module.

Yes, free to choose RF modules as well.
