not an issue at all but if you wanna run it down.
ucp.php
when in control panel there is a tab on the right hand side labeled UCP_BLOG

the link on that tab
ucp.php?i=248
gives this error
Cannot find module ./includes/ucp/ucp_blog.php

I was really looking for the member lists. I liked seeing who had posted how many posts, when they joined, their location, website, etc. No big deal if you have removed that for good. I been slipping a lot on the top post list anyway :-)

Thanks... the blog module plugin is not available in the new versions of phpbb.

I will hide the defunct menu
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

Oh.. no idea on the members list. I have not specifically removed anything. ... just difference in the versions!

Something else to search for!

And there are 152 spam topics from a single account today, with no easy way to get rid of them all in one go, please bring back the "OC ban" feature :(

EDIT: could delete everything from the ACP.

Yes, was registered before/during the upgrade 2 days ago, so doesn't say anything about effectiveness of the new setup.... there are however no inactive users registered in the last 2 days while there'd be about 4 per day before, so we can have hope...

I'll do a bit of cleaning in those inactive users too.

As said they're gone :)

Also did a major cleanup in the users, all accounts with no posts except usernames that sounded legit and last active in the past few weeks are gone, that was nearly 10K bogus accounts.

Ok... Found the OC ban option.

Click on the users name
In their profile page - right at the top is a link: 'Ban Hammer this user'

That will do the trick.

I need to work out how to add it back to the listing page!

Oh yeah, hadn't seen it.

Don't bother with the main page, we usually see it's a spam post already in the "active topics" listing, no need to go see the detail so we can just go straight to the user profile (what I was already doing before). One less click :)

I have a list of "Notifications", currently with 19 entries. Is there any way to delete those no longer needed?

If I go to "notifications" and select "see all", I find I have 33, all of which I have dealt with. I don't seem to be able to remove them from this list. The check boxes seem greyed out.

mine shows the same thing, but the notifications says 'notifications(0)' There is an option of the bottom that says 'select all'. Then at the top it says 'mark read' . I think mine are all already 'read' so the option to mark them is greyed out. I imagine if the main page says notifications(1) , then you would have one you could select and 'mark read' No I dont see a way to clear the 'read' notifications. I think someone said earlier that they will roll off eventually hTH

Does look like there is an option to turn 'notifications' off granularly if you dont want them
