Post by prizreni »

Hi everybody.

I've thought of putting all the Turnigy 9XR Mods in one place and there it is:

Very nice documentation. Only one thing I would do different. I would use a level converter for the telemetry mod as I don't like the idea of messing with the RF module.. I bet the insurance company would love that idea. It is a good reason for them not to pay in case of an accident. We can mod the tx, we could even build one, but we can't touch the RF module, at least where I live :)
The best is the level converter (they are very small) with a cable connecting to the back of the DJT module.. no mods to the module needed.

Just my 2c

I agree regarding the level converter (also invertor). With that, you can also use a XJT module.

Thank you both for your comments, and you are right about the TTL, I think it would be a good idea to add this method too, and leave a note about "messing with the RF" ;). If you have any other idea or suggestion about improving the website, I would be pleased to hear them. As you have probably seen, this site is still in progress, so I will try to add as much information as I can. Until now I have put the things I own and the mods I have done to my radio and plane. There are also other things I will add about the HKPilot Mega 2.7 Master Set with a 433 MhZ telemetry, a video review of this set, also some charsets I have modified myself for MinimOSD, German audio voices I have made for Megasound9X, some things about antennas . . . etc. So I think when the site is complete, it will be have the necessary information about a complete FPV system, at least that's what I'm aiming for. Thanks again.

Best regards
