? Is Dublin, Ireland mode 1 or mode 2 ??

Post by fburden »

Hi Guys,
I'm planning on buying a 9XR for a family member in Dublin, Ireland. (I'm in Vancouver, Canada).

Could you guys tell me if Dublin is mode1 or mode2?

Mode1 being throttle on the right.
Mode2 being throttle on the left.

Thanks guys!!!

Ford B.

It's a personal choice. You may find more of one mode in some regions than others, but you'll find a bit of everything everywhere.
So no way to know without asking him (or one of his friends) really.

Most likely mode 2. I find more people in the UK are mode 2.

But really is a personal choice - and only sure way is to ask!

True :-)

But much like the rest of the world - I am originally from RSA.

As much as it upsets people; we foreigners normally view the UK as England, Ireland & Scotland!

Not the first time I have been corrected!

If I was a beginner. I would hope to use Mode 2 or look around for someone who could teach me with mode 2. Our club is all mode 2 although I am the only one with crossed trims..
