Airtronics rds8000

I'm helping a friend that could use a pot in place of a switch on his 8000 for stabilizer gain. Anyone ever see any mods to add one?

I do own the Airtronics / Sanwa RD8000 (which is the older version for 35Mhz) and have never heard about such a mod.

But i know about an issue with broken wires to the gimbal pots.
Please check this wires if not done yet!

Thanks for the link. I'm flying with 3 friends that own 8000 TXs. I guess we'll be checking out their pot wires.
