Yeah , there have been photos since about 6 months ago...
IMO them trying to reinvent layout results in something where everything is just wrong. Vertical screen means neck strap hook is too high to be balanced, and with that switch layout just try to toggle one of the top switches without also flicking one of the lower ones on the way...

Yes I agree with Kilrah on the switch problem. I really cannot understand why with all the extra switches and sliders that modellers expect on a modern transmitter, as to why the designers don't take the logical path in making the transmitter bigger and in the much loved tray format that has proved itself with the top flyers over the decades. Why on earth are some designers insisting on the nasty toy format that is an excuse for a working professional looking transmitter I really don't know.

Having said that. It's hat's off to them for trying something different.

Ahh.. You spotted some of the key words. It is slowly sinking in isn't it? :D

I have noticed that for those with beer bellies (note key word here is 'beer') it isn't so easy to use the tray style TX.

The TX in question would work for me, as I have small delicate fingers that wouldn't have a problem with the switches. Still prefer the Jeti DC16 layout.. The Graupner MC-20 comes a very close second. You may see that both of the mentioned transmitters are not suited to thumb flyers as the tops of the sticks is where you put switches. ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBS16GRIU7o

Note the high quality gimbal and the hall effect devices instead of pots..

It doesn't speak, it doesn't run ersky9x fw, It doesn't have a module bay to allow other modules to be used. Apart from the big screen, the 9XR-Pro radio is much better, and cheaper..

Just my 2c

Ha, I can see they have been following what the open source did to the 9x :mrgree: Logical switches and all that :)

I wonder what that "auto power off setting" was ;)
Menus do look nice. But that's not all in a radio..

I find it awful personally, not at all adapted to an RC TX!

I do like the shape of the radio. And also that is thin as I have small hands. I don't like that jet sound at power ON/OFF, but that doesn't make the radio bad. What I really don't like on that radio is what I said above. No ersky9x in it. I guess we could just rip the RF module out and adapt a frsky one if the original is not placed on the main board.
