A member of our german fpv-community has a strange problem with his X9D+ since he tried to update his models with companion.

The OpenTX bootloader does not work anymore. Last chance seems to be Zadig. But there is only one possibility to connect this X9D in STM32 bootloader/Zadig mode: remove TX-battery and wiggle the sticks (sounds crazy, i know). Then "STM 32 bootloader" appears for a short time in the device manager, but changes immediately to "unknown device", if you try to flash the firmware.
It seems, the STM starts running and does not wait for any USB-commands.
The main switch unit was also disconnected, without success. The USB connector was examined carefully and it is OK. Several USB cables were tested. After all we ran out of ideas.

Most likely has a hardware fault, could be either in the power circuitry or a toast processor...
