Turnigy 9xr pro to Taranis x9d plus throttle issue

Hello,

I recently switched from turnigy 9xr pro to the Taranis x9d plus. I have noticed that my punch outs aren't as snappy as they were with the 9xr pro. With the 9xr, I used to just blip the throttle and she would take off over a tree. It seems like with the taranis I have to push a little more. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 9XR's sticks have particularly short mechanical throw (shorter than Taranis), so it will probably feel more "sensitive". You could compensate for that by increasing mix ratios, which would result in some deadband at stick throw ends but similar response.
