Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
So new problem now. I cannot get the Internal module to bind with my RX's. I am running 2.1.9 And I have updated both the internal module's firmware as well as the RX. I go through the bind procedure but never get the bind.
I can insert my External XJT and go through the exact same binding procedure and I get a good bind everytime. What is going on here?

What files did you flash to the module and receivers?

Hey Mike!
I flashed XJT_build161214.frk for the internal module
and
X8R_LBT_build151118.frk for the receiver.

Re: Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
So I got it to bind properly now. For some reason I had to flash to XJT_LBT_161214.frk. I am confused on why because I believe when I update my external module I used the non LBT one. I was under the assumption that the LBT was for European models.
What exactly is the difference between LBT and non LBT?

Re: Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
LBT is europe, non-LBT is international.
You say you flashed LBT to the receiver... so either you did that wrong, or if it's intentional then it's normal you need LBT on the internal module too.

Re: Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
Am I supposed to use non LBT in the US? I am still confused by this why have a firmware for europe and firmware to non-europe?
Re: Internal Module Not Binding to X6R
Europe has recently introduced stricter restrictions in how devices are allowed to transmit which makes the international protocol not compliant anymore, and a specific version had to be made to comply. You can use it everywhere, but it was not made the default so as not to force users in places not affected to have to reflash all their equipment.

When purchasing FrSky, purchase in the US for international firmware default.jtroutt19 wrote:Am I supposed to use non LBT in the US ?

In the US, use international, no headaches for you this way.
Added edit: I mostly purchase FrSky products from Aloft Hobbies (http://alofthobbies.com/).
