X4R & XD9plus Failsafe applies full power

Post by randallpatrickc »

Trying to setup failsafe - zero the throttle, hold the enter long - beep.
Try it out by turning off the Tx - full power!
Any ideas pls?

Does the bar actually show the right level has been stored?

You then need to wait >15sec or so to be sure the new settings are sent to the receiver.

Yes the bar is at zero - every long ENT press there is a field to the left of the scale which changes from 0.0 to HOLD to NONE
I have it on 0.0
Correct?
Waiting >15secs

Update - I tried NONE on the throttle and hey-presto - it drops to zero on Tx off :-)
Bolstered by success, I did the same with ELE, held up ELE, turned off Tx and up ELE remained!
There's something I don't understand here!

Throttle off is -100%, not zero (0.0%).

There are TWO bars, one shows the current poaition and the other one the stored failsafe position.

If you see 0.0 then you have mid throttle set, you must see -100.
Long press changes mode. Once you're in "value" mode you press enter SHORT to edit it. Either you set with the +/- keys, or NOW in edit mode long press enter to save the current position.

I have the same problen. I want failsafe on my glider to be power off and slight right rudder, but when I turn off the TX I get power on and FULL FLAPS and, yes, I have selected the rudder channel and not the flaps channel. I don`t understand it :x
