Hi jbrownskunk,

Hummmm .....

You will need to do some checking-out of some things.

1) check all your batteries voltages that they are good (power to all the hardware).

2) Transmitter antenna connections.

3) Transmitter may be failing.

Because you are having the same problem with 3 different receivers,
I am thinking the problem maybe with your Transmitter.

I did have a problem that developed over time with the internal XJT module
This was with the older Taranis-x9d.
The fix was to send it in for warranty, which the internal XJT was replaced
and fixed the problem.
Before warranty you will need to check some things out first.

How are you powering the receiver/servos?

By the esc. I even tried straight 5 volts still nothing but green/red led stay on . Now none of the three 2 x8r and an x6r that wont bind at all now. Just constant red/green. Just for giggles i just bound a Orange reciever to the vehicle and it works just fine . i also have a hv7 channel frsky reciever that works great.i reflashed the x6r but still nothing.

I have had trouble when trying to using the 5 volts from the ESC's as most can of them can only output about 2 amps
which can lead to brown-out of your receivers.
Try using a 5 Volt / 5 amp UBEC to power your receivers.
Check that you have the proper protocol setting for your proper Transmitter module.
Try creating a new model with new proper settings.

Check if you power the Rx on by itself, the green LED is off and the red LED flashes slowly.
When trying to bind, don't have the Tx too close to the Rx, have a few feet (couple of metres) between them.

I assume you know what to do to bind, but perhaps you could provide more details:
1. Please answer my question above: "Check if you power the Rx on by itself, the green LED is off and the red LED flashes slowly."
2. What Tx, module and radio firmware are you using?
3. Have you tried putting a link on the X8R to get it to bind in "D" type mode, then set the Tx to also use the "D" protocol?

If you have changed the back board, and therefore the internal XJT, please confirm the XJT and the receivers all have compatible firmware, that is all EU-LBT or all FCC-international.
