Basic Question on New setup - Charging

The few things I have read I think I am not alone on this one. I charge the radio using the wall charger it came with it start with flashing green lights, then goes steady green for a couple of hours, then goes out. But it is not charged - I get low power warning. The Taranis display reports 8.7V and a Mulitimeter seems to agree. I dont have the correct leads to charge externally right now and want to get it up and working. Any ideas?

The taranis radio as far as I know uses a 6 cell NiMhs pack. That means it should show about 8.4V when charged. You say the battery is 8.7V when charged, That is more than charged for a 6 cell NiMh battery
Go to your radio settings and change the voltage alarm to the correct voltage. The voltage alarm seems to be set wrong.

No, don't set it that low. A NiMh cell is considered discharged at 1.1V, that makes 6.6V for 6 of them. That alarm is way too low and useless because it will warn you too late. Set it at around 7V if you want a quite low alarm, but when it sounds, land immediately.
I have mine set at 7.1V
