Wireless Trainer Module - Availability?

Post by mapes12 »

Does anyone know of a module (or similar) to wirelessly connect two Taranis Tx's for student training. Both Tx's are running ERSky9X. I found this one but it's out of stock and I need a UK supplier.

It must be plug and play without the need for taking the back off and soldering etc.

TIA.

Mark

You can just take an SBUS or PPM receiver and hook it up with a male-male servo cable in the module bay, which is what this does in a slightly cleaner way.

Thank you Kilrah

1) In addition to channels 1 - 4 the instructor/student setup also passes control of channels PPM7 & PPM8 via the Mixer for functions on the model. Would the Rx setup you describe also accommodate this requirement?

2) Do you know where I can find a wiring diagram please?

Just reading older threads and thought you may be interested in the system I've been using, have a look at this URL.. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/wireless-bu ... oller.html
I have used this with my mode 1 Taranis coupled with a mode 2 Spektrum and it works faultlessly, the only advice I can add about it is use short cables between it and the receivers (cuts down on the plumbing). There is a 4 channel version as well..

i use the Linker from Aloft, it works fantastic.
be aware though that if you order one from Aloft, i got charged an extra £12.48, (vat £4.48 and £8.00 Royal Mail International Handling Fee) and had to go and collect it from my local sorting depot.
I also have the dual rx controller, i used it before getting the Linker, if you want it let me know, you can have it foc.
