Part of Switch test missing

Post by TheSwede »

Hi, i noticed when i read the OpenTX Taranis manual that the picture of the "Switch test" window looks different than what it does in my radio, in the OpenTX manual picture there is a possibility to test the stick movements, i don't have that choice in my radios Switch test window.
I only have the choice to test meny buttons and the trims.

Im talking about the window that is one of the 8 windows together with the settings window, SD card window, Radio version window, and so on.

Which one is correct, does my radio suppose to have more testing options in that window than what it has right now?

I have the Taranis B Version with the Firmware version 2.0.12.

Thanks for some answers to my question.

The sticks and pots are on the next page (analog inputs).

Okay, thanks for the answer. So i guess the picture in the OpenTX Taranis manual is taken from a earlier firmware version?

The manual shows 2 captures of the 2 different pages, they are simply explained together because they are closely related...

Yes i see the two combined pictures called Switch test and Analog inputs, but actually the first above picture called "Switch Test" shows four "round circles" made of small dots, and with a dot in the middle of the circles, beside every circle there is a arrow showing the stick movement direction. I guess these circles symbolizes the sticks.
These circles are located on the left side of the zeros under the Trim + - .

The numbers are the states of the trim keys associated with the stick that is pictured next to them.

Okay the most important is that everything is okay with my transmitter. I just got curious because the picture of the "Switch test" window in the manual has icons that i don't have in my same "Switch test" window, that is the circles that can be seen in the OpenTX Taranis manuals Diagnostic section (Switch test).

But okay, thanks for the info.

I'ts indeed a bug in 2.0, while the manual is based on firmware 1.x.
Does not have any influence on anything.
