SH Switch ( sticky )

Post by Deadtillten »

Hi everybody,

I'm busy setting up my Taranis and would like set up the SH switch to turn my LED's on and off.

If possible to also to announce, " Lights on and Lights off ". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,J.J.

Hi,

This should be pretty easy to do and can be done in the special functions menu only.

You must first record and store the two sound tracks for "led ON" and "LEd off". Then store them in the SD card directory sound.

You will need a switch that will operate the same as a PPM servo. your switch can be off at -100 and on at +100
Lets say you connect your switch to channel #6 of your receiver.

Add the following instructions in the special functions menu:

SH off overrideCH6 -100 and thick the box at the right.
SH ON overrideCH6 +100 and thick the box at the right.
SH off play track "led off" 1X
SH on play track "led on" 1X

That's all.

You probably understand this already, but I just wanted to make clear that you can't use the receiver as the switch. The receiver controls a switch that turns the lights on and off.
