Create on/off switch for Ignition

Hi all
I am a long time reader, but first time poster. I can't believe that a full featured radio like the Taranis x9d plus,with open TX. Can not do a simple thing like turn a switch on/off. I have been trying to program it to turn a opt kill switch for my dle 20 on/off, and i can't figure it out. Am i missing something, or can this great radio not do this? Thanks for your help

That is the simplest thing you can do with that radio.
But you have to tell the radio what you want it to do. Just go to the channel your kill switch is connected to and create a mix with a switch as source. If it works reversed, just select the reverse of the switch (if possible) or reverse the value of the weight.,.
I'm sure there are very good openTX manuals out there. I use another firmware, but this is basically the same in the one I use and openTX. It should be something like:

CH6 100% Sx (whatever the switches in openTX are)

Maybe not quite, what you are looking for ...
My safety switch is SH, throttle on right stick and channel #1
Amber tells me, when throttle is not active.
With opentx - anything goes ...

Mine reminds me every 20 seconds when I have the throttle active but am not flying.

Thanks guys, i will try that. It has been driving me crazy. That i couldnt figure it out

that is my way for arming and disarming. (Bl motors - rc model aircraft)
When I don't hear Amber's voice any more, I know, I have to take care

So please, take it only as an example. You might find another way for your needs ...
