Hello fellow forum members. I am the proud owner of a brand new Taranis. I'm very excited to get started with it, but I'm having some initial difficulty NOOB questions and was hoping for some expert advise :
I am connecting this radio to a brand new build QAV-R with NAZE32 Rev. 6.
I'm using the D4R-II.
I've got the receiver bound and can connect to the NAZE in CleanFlight.
In CleanFlight, I can manually adjust and run the motors....works fine.
I can also see the transmitter stick functions in the transmitter tab. They work fine too.
Running PPM, and changed my settings to PPM.
However, I cannot get the sticks to give any motor movement directly. I can't seem to progress.
Any beginner suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!
Initial Use - Taranis Question
Re: Initial Use - Taranis Question
I think you need to scour the Cleanflight forums. My guess is you didn't arm your FC.
By the way you'll never "direct" control of the motors on a multicopter, you'll only tell the FC to do somethign and it will control the motors itself in the appropriate way to achieve it (once properly tuned that is).

Re: Initial Use - Taranis Question
Arming did the trick.... now i'll try and figure out how to setup the Taranis to arm the FC on a switch rather than stick arming.
Thanks so much!
