Remember switch / pot settings bug ?

I have always found the remember switch setting extremely useful. I now have a mix where I am using a pot to control the amount of throttle to elevator mix.

I want this position remembered as it will likely be different on different models.

When I switch to a model, I get the switch warning, and a screen that looks like

oS2<-

I turn the pot to the left and the warning clears.

Problem is is is not clearing at the pot position I tried to memorise.

What could be the problem here ?

Did you set the pot warnings to manual or auto?
Auto stores current position when you turn off, manual needs you to set it.

Also it's best to have a switch placed wrong (deliberately) when you set the pot on startup, allows you more precision (otherwise warning may clear while you're still moving the pot and you thus overshoot the right point).

I had it to Manual. Setting it to Auto fixed it.

Hi, I have a follow up question now I have solved the above.

The Pot adjusts channel 9.

Then I have special function:

Adjust GV5 CH9

Seems I have to assign a switch to this, when what I actually want is this to be always on.

but ON doesn't seem to be an option.

Any clues?

ON should be an option present in all versions I know of.

I found it, needed a long press to get to it.
