Disable inactivity alarm on x9e?

Hi folks,

Is it possible to disable the activity alarm on the X9E? When I'm using it as a USB device on my PC I don't want it to alarm at me if I walk away, but I can't seem to find a setting for the length of the alarm. I suppose I could replace the sound file for the alarm, but I figured I should check with the experts for a more elegant method before doing something so crude.
