taranis x9e and bluetooth

Having failed to connect my Taranis X9E to my PC and Companion 2.1 by using a USB connection,I purchased a Bluetooth dongle and pluged it into a spare USB port.Switched on my Taranis and I still get ' cannot find transmitter'

Any help would be appreciated,what,if anything,am I doing wrong

I believe Bluetooth on the radio does not currently allow PC connectivity, only wireless trainer is supported.

How do you you pair 2 radios for using in a trainer setup using bluetooth? One must be slave and the other master, right? Can you select on the radio whether it is master or slave?

Absolutely no idea, didn't look at it at all. I don't even have hardware.

Could also be that it only supports telemetry right now.

at openTX bluetooth activated

at PC a Bluethooth Search programm started

No Bluethooth was found

It's a Bluetooth 4 LE device, which is perhaps not supported by your PC.

And even if it is it doesn't work like the "old" Bluetooth with virtual COM ports anymore, it needs a dedicated app that uses the new bluetooth APIs.
