Have a new gps smart port sensor and see that for various reasons an update to the onboard rf firmware of my Taranis bought from T9 last July.
I note the diy lead instructions using the fuc 3 and smart port convertor, but the latter is currently swallowed by the black hole of Chinese New Year.
Does anyone have an opinion on using a standard FTDI PL232 cable (xover?) in order to do this?
Thanks in advance.
Can FTDI PL232 be used to flash rf module fw?
Re: Can FTDI PL232 be used to flash rf module fw?
Thanks
The smart port converter is just a diode across tx/rx and cable positions for the onboard socket so I can knock one of those up ok so I'll give it a try.
