Scratches on Screen
Scratches on Screen
My Taranis arrived with a series of fine scratches on the screen. Any suggestions how to get rid of them would be appreciated.

This is after you have removed the protective film I assume?

There was no film on the screen when it was delivered unfortunately.

Are are you completely sure the thin film is not still attached as it is quite thin and easy to miss it. There is also a film on the FRSKY badge just below the antenna which I had not spotted initially.

Thanks for that. I have now polished the screen and put screen protector film as used on phones/tablets on it and it looks fine. Thanks to all for help.Bill wrote:You could try these remedy's used for plastic glasses lenses:

After reading the info in that link I used toothpaste to clean the canopy on the Tucano I'm building. I'd inadvertently got some glue smears on it and it's cleaned up quite well. Just needs covering and final fitting out and it'll be another victim to be wrung out with my Taranis Weather permitting, of course.Bill wrote:You could try these remedy's used for plastic glasses lenses:
