fas-100 problem on telemetry

Post by chrlie »

i´ve connected fas-100 to x8r receiver, set everthing on taranis telemetry.
i have always 80 Amp and more on telemetry, engine is off, only bec for receiver on batterie.
Is there a software problem or is this a settigng or sensor problem.

Ive changed differend types of receiver, always same problem?? :x

What did you do exactly? The FAS-100 can't be connected directly to an X8R, as it's not a smart port equipped sensor.
You would need the new vario sensor as a bridge.

Yes, vario was as a Bridge between Sensor and Receiver, but i have tried it directly with the d8r-II plus and its the Same Problem

Please post your EEPROM or at least list all the telemetry settings you use on the radio. FAS should just work when selecting FAS as current source and displaying Curr.

Looks OK, I'd suspect a defective sensor.

What do you get when you display Vfas? You should have your battery voltage.

I had a similar Problem with FAS. It was the Sensors that was defective, no idea why...

Did you buy this FAS-100 from hobbyking? It is possible you got one of the FAS-40 sensors reworked for 100 amps which is labled as a FAS-100. See the thread about it here:
