Hi,
I need help changing from the default Mode 2 to Mode 1.
1. I have changed the spring and ratchet on the sticks. Now the right stick up-down has the ratchet and the Left stick will return to centre.
2. I have gone into the Radio Setup and changed the following:
a. Default channgel order AETR
b. Mode 1 Rud Ele Thr Ail
I just tested it in the Channel Monitor. The right stick still still controls CH1 (up-down) and CH2 (left-right) and the left stick controls CH3 (up-down) and CH4 (left-right).
I also tested it with a servo on channel 1 and it is controlled by the right-side up-down stick.
I have made a new model and deleted the old model. The Radio Setup shows the correct Mode and Channel Order, but it is still misbehaving. I am talking about the Taranis itself, not C9X. The Taranis is NOT connected to the C9x
Help! Tq in advance

Can't change channel order
Re: Can't change channel order
Hi, I found out how to do it, in case anyone else ask...
1. Go into the menu
2. Press Page until it comes to the Template page and then reapply the template (whichever one), in my case, the 4-ch template

Or... just move your mixes to anywhere you want!
Channel Order does not really exist on the custom firmwares. As far as I know, it only applies when assigning templates.

Re: Can't change channel order
. . . which just uses the simple 4-ch template. If you select the No Templates option (default for the FrSky version) you currently lose the ability to set the default channel order on the radio, you have to use eepe to do so. The option is on the TEMPLATES menu. I could move it to the main RADIO SETUP menu, but it would use up some flash!

I missed the forum in which this was posted, I was using "view unread posts".
