I'm trying to help, via e-mail, a new Taranis owner.
He is having trouble binding the internal XJT to an X8R. The XJT is in D16 mode, CH 1-8.
It seems that on selecting [bind], the [bind] is flashing, but there is no bleeping, and the bind doesn't take place.
Why would there be no bleeping? It might explain why no binding.

Ask him to send his eeprom...
Are we sure he not trying to bind the extarnal not existing module ?
Also did he opened the radio, maybe to change mode ?

If volume is 0 there will be no sound either...
