I have checked my taranis swr/ras (ras in this case and it baselines on 1 and goes up if I cover antenna (I this the is correct) I have also tested power output of radio and its between 30 and 60mw, (depends on frequesncy I guess)
My rssi warning is kicking in and 100m and crit at about 110m.
I have tested with 2 r-xsr and 1 xsr
this is on eu-lbt firmware
Is this normal?
Thanks

Re: Range expected from r-xsr
Alas this isnt in rangetest mode.
Did rangetest and rssi goes low at 3m and critical at between that and about 5m (varies)

Re: Range expected from r-xsr
Strange, this does not make sense on first glance.
The measured RF output is in the expected range, the probability of 3 defective RX is very low.
In your case i would flash XJT and RX with the latest LBT firmware now and try again in rangetest mode. A X9D and R-XSR will manage about 100m before critical warning (RX and TX at least 1m above ground, no obstacles).
