I have a Taranis Q-X7 with opentx 2.2.0 (none EU) and after I bind to receiver that is integrated into flight controller like Eachine Turbine QX70 Based F3 EVO Brushed Flight Controller Frsky 8CH sbus compatible receiver(D8 mode), the binding process is completed successfully and I go to cleanflight/ betaflight on receiver menu and check if I get connected to transmitter and it's connected. Moving the sticks' transmitter will move the right channel. But after few seconds without touching the sticks' transmitter all the channel are moving randomly from minimum to maximum and stops for few seconds and moving again randomly like crazy. At first, I thought is the receiver-flight controller board problem but I have replaced with a brand new one and it's doing the same and also I have tried different receiver -flight controller board like Aurora RC JHF3 V1.0 F3 Brushed Flight Controller with Integrated FrSky 8CH Receiver and I get the same crazy channels behavior.
The strange part is I have other D8 receivers that work fine with the transmitter like Tiny Frsky 8CH Receiver. Also, the transmitter works fine with all D16 receivers.
Please help me to solve this strange problem. Thank you!

If you have other receivers that work well, then probably the problem are the receivers..
Try updating them with the latest firmware.

Re: QX7 bind to a D8 mode receiver - all 8 channels go crazy
I have 3 flight controllers that have embedded a frsky receiver D8 mode all have the same strange behaviour.
Do you know a way to update a frsky receiver that is embedded on flight controller board? There are not pads to solder an USBASP programmer to do the update.

Re: QX7 bind to a D8 mode receiver - all 8 channels go crazy
They are probably all flashed with the same firmware. Please note that I said "Probably". I don't know those flight controllers, but I have built some DIY Frsky Compatible receivers for some of my models. I am actually on the process of building one at this precise moment
First of all they are NOT Frsky receivers. They are probably clones of the DIY receivers discussed on this thread:Do you know a way to update a frsky receiver that is embedded on flight controller board? There are not pads to solder an USBASP programmer to do the update.

Second, if there are no pads, then it might be very difficult to flash it.
As I said above I never used those flight controllers, maybe someone else here does. Aren't there any threads discussing those controllers? I would think that there are more people buying them and having the same problems. Perhaps a search on RC Groups would help..
Sorry that I can't be of more help.. Maybe it would help if you posted some good pictures of the controller and receiver..

Re: QX7 bind to a D8 mode receiver - all 8 channels go crazy
I have the exact same problem with my Eachine QX65 quadcopter and my Taranis QX7 transmitter. Were you ever able to resolve your issue? If so, how did you resolve it so I may do the same? Thank you!
