X9D Companion simulator issues

Recently purchased X9D plus SE, and had no issues with companion simulator or 3rd party simulators. I updated companion and firmware to 2.2.0 and now my mac recognizes taranis joystick and so does the companion simulator but none to the inputs/channels are being recognized. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
