Hey, been working and research this for a couple of days and I can't find an answer...
Macbook Pro-Retina (and mid 2009 also) running Yosemite connected Taranis x9D-Plus via USB
I CAN flash the firmware using either OpenTX Companion or Companion9x.
I CAN see the device connected to USB Hub
I CANNOT flash the EEPROM and neither the Taranis nor the SD card show up on my desktop as drives.
Does anyone have a thought on this? It feels like the "mass storage device" setting on the radio is off?
Thanks in advance!
Taranis won't show up on desktop and won't download EEPROM

Re: Taranis won't show up on desktop and won't download EEPR
You are seeing the boot loader that is activated when you connect usb cable to powered off radio. This is factory installed bootloader.
To see Opentx bootloader, that provides mass storage mode, you need to start radio with trims held inwards, then connect usb cable. Read http://open-txu.org

Dinamich,
Thanks for getting me through the most difficult of problems...I looked and looked and looked. I also just took all of the 'classes' on open-txu.org -- great resource!
Thanks again!
