Taranis GPS S Port module Qs

Hey all,

Can anyone tell me if the FrSky GPS (Smart Port) module is plug & play or do you need to set it up in Open Tx ?

I've played around in the telemetry screens in OpenTx but can't find any settings for GPS.

GPS is the source of Speed, Dist, GPS Alt, and Hdg. I don't believe Hdg is working yet. In the logs you'll see GPS Date, GPS Time, Long, Lat, Course, GPS Speed(mph), GPS Alt.

There is nothing you need to do in the telemetry tab to enable the GPS - however in the Transmitter settings you need to set up the GPS format in the following screen.

I have ordered the unit & still waiting for it to show up.

Thought I'd muck around with the Open Tx settings while I'm waiting.

Looks like a very cool accessory for my Taranis !
