Taranis plus and D6FR rx

Hi,
I am pretty new to the world of Taranis, although I have used frsky for a few years via DJT module in a JR 9XII

I purchased a Taranis plus a couple of weeks ago. So far I have installed opentx 2.1.9 and have set up and flown 4 models, including mixes and rates.

I thought I'd move on to a bit of telemetry, but cannot get it to work. I have searched all over the internet, but cannot find the answer.

I am hoping that someone can help me and answer the question below

I have a couple of old D6FR rx and I'm trying to get them to work on my Taranis plus, with telemetry tho A2

I have a DJT module in the tx, the model is set to use the external module only in PPM mode.
The DJT module has both switches down (for telemetry).
The D6FR bind successfully,
On the telemetry screen I have selected protocol "FrSky D"
I have connected up a voltage of 3v to A2
When I start sensor discovery, nothing happens....................

IS it possible get telemetry data in the Taranis thro a djt module from a D6FR receiver ?
What might I have done wrong ?

The DJT doesn't have any direct telemetry connection. You'd need to do external wiring to connect the telemetry port at the back of the module to one of the radio's inputs.

Or just use the internal module instead...

I dont fancy doing external wiring, so I will have to use the internal module. Presumably that means using one of the new D8 or XR receivers ? rather than my old D6FR.

No your D6FR will work jsut as well as long as you use firmware with D8 enabled.

Thank you, it did. And discovery found my A2 voltage, so hopefully I can work out the rest from here.
