LiFePO4 - Make your own packs

Post by Rob Thomson »

Hello,

Not sure if anyone had noticed these on ebay...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... Categories

I have made a set up and they seem to work quite well :-)

4 cells.... delivering a 6.4v supply to the ersky9x board. Pretty certain they could be made into compact 2 cell and highly stable rx packs ;-)

That was intentional.

You can get AA and CR0 life-PO4 cells :)

What is wrong with a pair of non protected 18650's from Dealextreme?
They work fine for me. (In the transmitter)
Superglue them together without tapeing, perfect fit! :D

Nothing wrong with them at all :)

Nice thing with life cells is that they can be a close match to regular NiMH cells... So great for rx packs.

When you consider... The cr2 size is available... That makes for some tiny packs for gliders!

I have made on up for the tx. works perfectly :)
