Hi I have a 9x with er9x on it via the soldering mod I use a djt module and was wondering if the smartiparts tez board will enable me to view telemetry on my 9x via my frsky recievers?. Cheers ps im a bit of a amateur right now but getting there

Yes, I have a 9X running with wired programming, but using a TeZ board for the telemetry.

Hi yeh that would be great im currently using er9x but iv noticed that I can get a version of opentx that supports telemetryez would this be better.? There will probibly lots to noob post by me but hey we all have to start somewhere ☺ also im very grateful for the help I have rreceived from this forum so a big thanks to everyone

Er9x vs OpenTx is kind of like Coke or Pepsi. It is a matter of personal preference. Try both of them, and then pick which you feel better with. They are both based on each other, and so are pretty similar. So, most of what you learn in one will transfer to the other.

Should you wish to use a FrSky XJT module, then this is only supported by er9x with the TelemetrEZ board at the moment. The TEZ board firmware was recently updated to fully support this, but openTx hasn't caught up (yet).
gohstb is right, try both. I'm biased as I maintain er9x!
