This gave me 2 more switches (push buttons in my case) and also freed some other connections for other switches. My radio had also its ELE switch changed to a 3 position instead of the original 2 positions :)

All my radios were converted to more powerful boards, but I decided to keep this one with Er9x. I did change the processor to a m2561..

Yup, I have packaged this Radio with a Drone I sold just recently... needed it to get working... Now I am done to one... :-)

Well done, I did put r821 back on my M64 radio (that has a TeZ in it) to check it all worked.
Should you try using a Multi module with the TeZ, I think you'll find the telemetry doesn't work as it is sent at yet another baud rate (100k).

Couldn't the TeZ be made to work at the same (100K) baud rate?

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. er9x needs to tell the Tez to use a third baudrate to the module (9600 and 57600 already). The TeZ then needs to change to handle that. Also, the TeZ currently recognises FrSky 'D' and FrSky 'X' packets only, it buffers them and then passes tham on to the radio. It would now need to recognise all the different possible telemetry packets, and the status, from the Multi module, buffer them, then forward them to the radio. It has to do this because it also sends "Private" data that contains the AIL and THR switch values and the encoder data and this special packet must not occur in the middle of a normal telemetry packet.
