Hi all,
I'm using an RB10 with an xsr and and XM+ in a redundant config (both are bound, the latter as non-telemetry). RSSI display is for the XSR. The XM+ has an RSSI pad. I'm just wondering if it's possible to get the rssi from the XM+ back via a smart port converter, or even by direct connection, somwhere, and if so, how I might do it.
Any ideas? Would really help with antenna placement matching between receivers.
I do have an X6R - could I use one of the spare channels for RSSI feedback instead? (not sure how it worlks, saw some references to it online...)
RB10 with XSR & XM+ - Displaying rssi for second receiver?
Re: RB10 with XSR & XM+ - Displaying rssi for second receiver?
You may want to
- hack your XSR for a direct connection to the XM+ RSSI pin
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthr ... tage-input
- or use an openXsensor to convert RSSI voltage to SPort
http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=86
- or use this readymade sensor

And you may want to rename and scale analog in into matching values on telemetry page of your TX.

Decided to go with the X8R2Analog from Aloft. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
