problem with flashing FrSky R9M

Post by CatRovacer » Thu Feb 15, 2018 7:15 am

The module R9M is not flashed either via SPORT, via Qx7 bay module connector, DIY STK (basen on Ardu nano)
Message from my opentx (V2.2.1):
FW update error. Bottom pin no resp"
The receiver i can flash well.

Yesterday i connected STLink to SWD pads on R9M. I can read & flash STM32.

Need bootloader for R9M.

Where placed bootloader in R9M?

It same as for rx R9? (Why not?)

Anyone can read dump with bootloader? If you can did it!!!!. ;)

FrSky bootloaders are secret. Only the factory and maybe one or 2 service centers have them. You will need to send your module to one of them.

Yes, they told me about it. But the shipment is only one way for about 1 month.
Is the fw binary .frk encrypted? If yes, everything is sad.

Yes to avoid other manufacturers easily making copies.
