LCD screen has horiz. dead spots ?

My X9D plus display has some lines running horizonally accross the screen, any idea how it can be fixed ? loose connection ? It's almost 2 weeks out of warranty. Thanks in advance for any advise. Kert

LCD replacement is likely needed.

........I was hoping to try and move the ribbon connector first as I have not heard from Taranis via email regarding the warranty repair period.

The connection to the LCD is serial, so it's basically impossible a connection problem would result in broken lines, the whole display would be garbled. Must be on the glass itself.
